Lifeguard of the Year
This award is given every year to the lifeguard who has excelled in every aspect of lifeguarding. Which included leadership, teaching, competing and most of all giving the best protection to the bathers of Cape May. This is a one time award. Every member the of patrol votes on the winner. The 2002 winner was Patrice Back. Listed below is a list of the past winners since the awards inception in 1981.
